Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the "Selorax Order Converter" Chrome extension ("the Extension," "we,"

"us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use it. The Extension is published

by the Selorax team to help merchants convert customer messages into orders inside the Selorax merchant

dashboard.

1. WHO THIS POLICY APPLIES TO

This policy applies to anyone who installs and uses the Selorax Order Converter Chrome extension. It

covers both data about you (the merchant using the Extension) and data about the customers whose messages

you choose to capture into your Selorax store.

2. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT

The Extension collects the following categories of data, and only the following categories. All of it is

collected to perform the Extension's single purpose: turning customer messages into structured orders in

your Selorax dashboard.

2.1 Personally Identifiable Information (PII)

When you highlight text from a customer message and choose to convert it into an order, the Extension

parses and stores:

• Customer name

• Customer phone number

• Customer email address (if present in the message)

• Customer delivery address

We also store the Selorax account profile of the logged-in merchant (your name, user ID, and the list of

Selorax stores you have access to). This information is read from your existing Selorax dashboard session

and is not collected separately.

2.2 Authentication Information

The Extension stores your Selorax authentication token (a JSON Web Token, or "JWT") so it can submit

orders to your Selorax store on your behalf without asking you to log in again. This token is read from

your active Selorax dashboard tab (admin.selorax.io or app.selorax.io) and is stored locally inside your

browser.

If you choose to enable the optional AI extraction feature, the Extension also stores a Puter API token so

it can call the Puter AI service on your behalf. This token is created when you sign into Puter from the

Extension's popup and is stored locally inside your browser. Connecting Puter is entirely optional.

2.3 Personal Communications

The text you highlight on Facebook, Facebook Business Suite, or WhatsApp Web originates from chat messages

between you and your customers. The Extension reads only the text you have explicitly selected — it does

not read other messages, conversation history, contact lists, or any other content on the page. The

selected text is parsed locally and, only if you opt into AI extraction, sent to the Puter AI service.

2.4 Financial and Payment Information

When you create an order, the Extension stores transaction details associated with that order:

• Item names, quantities, and prices

• Order subtotal, discount, shipping, and total amounts

• Payment method (for example, "cash on delivery")

• Amount paid by the customer

The Extension does NOT collect credit card numbers, bank account details, credit ratings, or any other

sensitive payment instrument. It only records the order-level totals you enter or confirm.

2.5 Location

Customer delivery addresses are a form of location data. The Extension stores the delivery address you

enter for each order so it can be submitted with the order to your Selorax dashboard. The Extension does

NOT collect GPS coordinates, IP addresses, or any device-level location signals.

2.6 Website Content

The Extension reads the text you have selected on a supported website (facebook.com,

business.facebook.com, or whatsapp.com) when you click the "+ Selorax Order" floating button or the "Add

to Selorax Order" right-click menu. It does NOT read the page in the background, scrape other content,

take screenshots, or access images, videos, or files.

3. WHAT DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT

For clarity, the Extension does not collect any of the following:

• Your web browsing history or the list of websites you visit

• Mouse movements, clicks, scrolls, or keystrokes (beyond reacting to a single text-selection gesture

to display the in-page button)

• Health or medical information

• Credit card numbers, banking credentials, or any sensitive payment instruments

• Information about your device's location (GPS, Wi-Fi triangulation, IP-based geolocation)

• Analytics, telemetry, advertising identifiers, or fingerprinting signals

The Extension contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no tracking pixels.

4. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

We use the data described above solely for the Extension's single purpose:

• To parse selected text into structured customer and order fields

• To save those fields as a draft order inside the Extension's local storage

• To submit confirmed orders to your own Selorax store via the Selorax API

• To keep you signed in to your Selorax account without asking you to log in twice

• To let you switch between Selorax stores you already have access to

• To export your captured orders to a CSV file when you click "Export CSV"

• (Optional) To call the Puter AI service for assisted extraction from messy messages, only when you

have explicitly enabled this feature

Your data is never used for advertising, profiling, resale, or any purpose unrelated to creating orders in

your Selorax dashboard.

5. HOW YOUR DATA IS STORED

5.1 Local browser storage

Captured orders, your cached store list, your Selorax authentication token, and (if connected) your Puter

API token are stored locally inside your browser using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API. This

data lives only on your own computer until you choose to submit orders or remove the Extension.

5.2 Your Selorax account

When you submit a captured order, the order is sent to your own Selorax store via the Selorax API

(api.selorax.io) and saved against your Selorax account, exactly as if you had entered it manually through

the Selorax dashboard. The Selorax platform's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy govern that data

once it reaches your account.

5.3 Removing your data

You can delete any captured order at any time from the Extension's popup. You can clear all locally stored

Extension data by removing the Extension from Chrome (chrome://extensions → Remove). To delete an order

that has already been submitted to your Selorax store, use the order management tools inside the Selorax

dashboard.

6. WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. The Extension shares data only with the following services, and

only as required to perform its function:

6.1 Selorax (api.selorax.io)

When you submit a captured order, the order details (customer name, phone, email, address, items, totals,

payment method, notes) are sent to your own Selorax store through the Selorax API. This is functionally

identical to entering the order manually in the Selorax dashboard.

6.2 Puter AI (api.puter.com) — OPTIONAL, OPT-IN ONLY

If, and only if, you click the "AI" badge in the Extension popup and sign into Puter, the Extension may

send the specific text you have highlighted to the Puter AI service for parsing into structured fields. No

additional information about you, your customer, or your browsing is sent. Puter's own privacy policy

governs how they handle that text. If you never enable AI extraction, no data is ever sent to Puter.

We do not share your data with any other third party for any purpose.

7. DATA ENCRYPTION

All network requests made by the Extension use HTTPS (TLS):

• Requests to api.selorax.io are encrypted in transit.

• Requests to api.puter.com (only when AI is enabled) are encrypted in transit.

Data stored inside chrome.storage.local is protected by your browser's standard sandboxing.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Extension is intended for use by merchants operating a Selorax store and is not directed at children

under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data

we hold about you. Because the Extension stores order data locally in your browser and submitted order

data inside your own Selorax store, you can exercise most of these rights directly:

• Access: open the Extension popup or your Selorax dashboard.

• Correction: edit the order in the Extension or in the Selorax dashboard.

• Deletion: delete individual orders from the popup, or remove the Extension to clear all local data.

• Export: use the "Export CSV" button in the popup.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at

the top of this page. Material changes will be announced inside the Extension's popup or via the Selorax
